Sh. Ramesh C. Nangia & Smt.Swarn Nangia

A Dynamic, Dedicated & Intelligent Personality, Lion Ramesh C. Nangia, MJF was born on 6th April 1947.  He had been an exceptionally brilliant student throughout & completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B. E.) & Business Management with Distinction.

Lion Ramesh C. Nangia is a reputed businessman who is leading Nangia Group of industries, manufacturing Home & Kitchen Appliances & Rubber Hoses having Units in Delhi, Parwanoo & Baddi with Famous Brand "AGNI" for Appliances & "SURAKSHA" for Rubber Hoses.  All the Units are certified by ISO 9001-2000, Dun & Bradstreet, BIS, LERC Bangalore.  He is also proud recipient of "UDYOG RATNA AWARD".  He is also the Chairman of All India Gas Stoves Manufacturers Association.

Lion Ramesh C. Nangia joined Lionism in 1978.  After working at grass-root level for many years, he became Charter President of Lions Club Pitampura Tower in 1991-92.  He excelled year after year & successfully completed his tenure as Zone Chairperson (1992-93) & Region Chairperson (1993-94).  He was appointed District Cabinet Secretary by the most dynamic District Governor of District 321-A2, Lion Pushpinder Singh in the year 1994-95.  He worked in great coordination with the energetic and super fast District Governor.  Since then, he has been serving Lionism creating Milestones in Service Activities.  During his tenure as District Chief Executive-Blood Donation & Blood Bank (2008-09), he crossed all the records by collecting more than 30,000 Blood units through our own Lions Blood Bank.  He was duly elected as Second Vice District Governor for the year 2009-10 at Shimla & First Vice District Governor  for the year 2010-11 at the District Convention at Agra during the tenure of District Governor Lion Madhu Aggarwal.


Lion Ramesh C. Nangia has been proud recipient of numerous recognitions for his achievements in Lionism including Awards & Medals from District, Multiple & International level.  Mentioning a few, he was Best President, Best Zone Chairperson and Best Region Chairperson both at District & Multiple level.  He received Recognition Award as District Cabinet Secretary & Best Multiple P.R.O. (1998-99) Award at Multiple level.

At International level, Lion Nangia is a recipient of 25 Members Key Award & 5 Club Extension Awards.  He has received 10 International President's Certificates of Appreciation & 11 International President's Pins.  He is also recipient of six International Director's Pins apart from many more recognitions.  Lion Ramesh C. Nangia is a Melvin Jones Fellow.


Lion Ramesh C. Nangia is happily married to Lion Swarn Nangia, a lady entrepreneur equally devoted to service activities and has also been Lion President.  She is a great source of inspiration behind his success.  She is very religious minded & homely lady.  The couple is blessed with a son Vivek, married to Sheena & a daughter Parul, married to Rajiv.  They are all very well settled.  Lion Nangia & his spouse are also proud grand parents of Resham & Saumya.  Lion Nangia intends to be a Philanthropist with the theme "INVOLVE TO SERVE & EXCEL".
